Should Terrorist Be Tried In Civil Courts Or Military Tribunals

There has been much discussion over Gitmo a U.S owned and Operated Military prison. Obama has been aimed at shuttering the the prison on a U.S owned piece of Cuba since before his Presidency but his 1 year deadline has been reached and has been stalled with all the trials that need to take place.
Wanting to move the detention center's remaining detainee's to a new Federal Facility built in Thompson, Illinois that never got used after being built due to funding. Some of the terrorist who sit in Gitmo want to go to court and have there day in court but do they hold any legal rights to a civilian court system since they chose to attack America in a barbaric way.
It is my opinion these terrorist should be held by the military and deemed all enemy combatants since they took evasive actions in trying to destroy America in general and deserve to be held as military combatants and there fate held in the hands of the military court system. Any other terrorist that hold or live in the United States as a legal resident is a different story. If they have lived here and have residence in which they live in, in this country then yes send them to a civilian court and let the people decide how long and what punishment is fair for there acts and attacks against the people of this country.
